The Pigeon Detectives stay on top of the NME ChartThe Pigeon Detectives have remained at the top of the NME Chart with 'Take Her Back' tonight (August 12).
The band have kept Maximo Park off the top spot, though they rise from Number Three to Number Two with 'Girls Who Play Guitars'.
New entries on the chart come from The White Stripes at Number Six with 'You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told)'.
The Twang enter at Number Eight with 'Two Lovers' and The Enemy go in at Ten with 'You're Not Alone'. The Smashing Pumpkins on 'Transformers' soundtrack
The Smashing Pumpkins are to feature on the soundtrack to the new 'Transformers' movie.
Their track 'Doomsday Clock' will be featured on their new album 'Zeitgeist'.
The album will also feature Linkin Park, The Used and Good Goo Dolls.
The film - a remake of a popular 1980s cartoon - is set to be released in the US on July 3.
